  It's great to have a reliable local. The staff are friendly, and have made effort to greet me by name and remember my order. The coffee has been consistent, and positive. They have a good gluten free selection of cakes too.

  Overall a pretty disappointing experience, considering the cafe is quite local to us, and we were looking forward to having a new local. We understand it is a new business and hope to return to a better experience there in the future.

  The cafe was quite busy while we were there, but we felt it took too long for the staff to clear our plates once the meals were finished, even though we had ordered "hot chocolate" after the meals.

  We heard a new cafe had opened in Clifton Hill, so we were quite keen to check it out. Unfortunately the staff weren't very polite. The coffee and hot chocolate are very average, which is surprising for a cafe in Melbourne. The hot chocolate was basically frothed milk with a hint of chocolate flavour added.

  To finish it off, three staff behind the counter didn't acknowledge us as we waited at the till to pay. Once we were spoken to, it was a very unenthusiastic encounter.

  The wait for food for a 2 person table was quite long as noted by another reviewer, and our meals were brought out about 5 minutes apart. On top of this, a table who had been seated after we had ordered appeared to receive their meals (which were similar to the dishes we had ordered) before us.

  The baked eggs came out very watery, and looked different to the baked eggs dish on the table next to me. The southern fried chicken burger strangely had mint and coriander on it, and just wasn't to my preference or expectation.

  Adult food was tasty and different. Kids food was okay but not a great choice. That said they seemed so chilled here I'm sure you could mix and match from the grown ups menu...
